Golden Globe Countdown

This is my favorite time of year! Movies and TV shows are being honored for their acting, writing and directing among other things, and I just love waiting for all of the red carpet arrivals. Those "what where you thinking" moments are always fun, but the best part is seeing all of the trends and styles our favorite actors/actresses are trying out.

 Golden Globes 2009

In addition, I have been watching new shows this year that are nominated, so I am excited to see who takes home the honors. My personal faves are of course Mad Men, House and Dexter all of which are nominated in the same categories. There are quite a few movies I need to see before I can make a judgment; however, to be honest, not many seem to interest me.

This year's Miss Golden Globe is the daughter of actress Alfre Woodard, Mavis Spencer. Awarded by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Miss or Mr. Golden Globe is the child of a celebrity, and last year we remember Rumer Willis had the honors.
